“To see in color is a delight for the eye but to see in black and white is a delight for the soul”~Andri Cauldwell

An innovative photographic exhibition by Kimara Wilhite and Fred DiGiovanni.

Kimara Wilhite draws inspiration for her photography from a life long love of nature and the outdoors. She is self-taught and regularly attends workshops where she learns new techniques from fellow photographers. She has also led her own workshops for landscape and nature photography. Her work displays dynamic moments frozen in time, using the appropriate shutter speed and a discerning eye. Light is featured prominently as a subject in her work.

Fred DiGiovanni is a silver photographer. He works with black and white film and process, prints, mats, and frames all his work in a home darkroom. He has been interested in making photographic images since the age of eight. In the age of digital photography, he has chosen to work crafting hand-made images produced with chemistry in a wet darkroom. His most recent works explore the non-traditional 3-dimensional possibilities of photography. His images weave, intersect and transform.
