David Becker and Kimara Wilhite Show

    Dates: September 20 – October 31, 2019
    Events: October 4 – Trolly Hop 5:30 – 9:00 pm

Kimara Wilhite developed a love of nature and the outdoors from a childhood spent camping with her Grandparents.
Her Grandfather was an avid photographer of nature, and she inherited his passion. She is always inspired by dramatic light
and capturing fleeting moments of nature. Kimara loves to travel and finds great joy in capturing nature around the world.
She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Equine Photographers Network, Louisville Visual Art Association,
and Art Seed Gallery in New Albany, Indiana. Her work has been published in magazines and exhibited in numerous
    exhibitions throughout the United States.

David E Becker was born in 1960 in Louisville, KY. He came to photography at a young age inspired by a love of the outdoors
and a world as seen through the pages of National Geographic.

“Finding perspectives that evoke an emotional response is what drives my exploration. As a photographer I work hard
to make images that freeze both time and space. Working with both color and monotone images I use space, negative space,
shapes, line, tonality or color as the primary object of the image In making an image I may strive to render that frozen
moment as true to its space and time as I can understand it or manipulate the image in a way that better reflects
my emotional response to that moment. As happens with each viewing, a “captured” moment or a “manipulated” work
sets the image into motion once again, in a different space and time.”
