Homecoming celebrates Annie’s return to her native Ohio River valley, where she will be in town to complete another installation project at the Falls of the Ohio entitled, LightFall. The exhibit will show some of her recent work in the west since departing Kentucky

Annie Mitchell is California based artist. She creates temporary installations of light and sound in the landscape. Many of these works, created in remote sites that she finds through hiking, are only experienced by most of us as photographs. Annie travels with the photographer TomClancey (among others) to direct and document these ephemeral works.
