Empyrean
Featuring Madison Cawein
Madison Cawein is a spiritual realist painter, who works from his own photographic source material. Empyrean is an exhibition of photographs and the paintings derived from his source photos that offer viewers the rare opportunity to see as the artist sees.
This exhibition demonstrates how the artist translates a moment from the material world into a photographic snapshot of time, and finally how that snapshot is translated into its final form as an artistic experience painted onto canvas.
