The Louisville Photography Collective is in full swing of preparation for it’s first session for it’s first round of student featuring “Frozen Shadows” a public exhibition to be featured as The Weber Gallery, 1151 S. 4th Street, Louisville Kentucky 40203, on October 22,2015 during the galleries participation throughout the 2015 Louisville Photo Biennial, Louisville’s premier photography festival.

This photography workshop is a three-session workshop geared toward youth that have demonstrated interest via application, in photography but is un certain of skills. All skill levels are welcome. The only tool needed is student’s individual aspirations for photography. The final outcome is gallery show of framed photographs that students have taken, and digitally edited with photography-editing software. This program has been designed with intentions of providing enough information that challenges student to apply skills learned in class, while giving experience outside of “automatic modes”

Cameras for the program have been provided by the School of Creative and Preforming Arts (SOCAPA.org) a summer program for teenagers located in New York City, Vermont and Los Angels.
