The STEAM Center Gallery at Purdue Polytechnic Institute in New Albany will exhibit work by Rosalie Rosenthal during the Louisville Photo Biennial. She photographs the tools and materials behind the technology we take for granted, furthering her interest in the hidden potential of mundane and overlooked subject matter. The artist/gallery pairing provides the opportunity for collaboration—the technology in use at Purdue becomes both the subject of Rosenthal’s photographs as well as the means to create work in the exhibition.
