Dates: Fall 2019
Events: September 21, 5:30 – 8:30pm
Landforms looks at Iceland’s geothermal extraction infrastructure and its relation to the landscape.
The design of these systems have qualities that reverberate with the landscape of which they are an integral part.
Neal’s photographs explore how these natural and man-made landforms coexist
while maintaining an egalitarian and harmonious relationship.
This work culminates two year’s of involvement with the landscape of Iceland.
Neal has employed a 6×7 medium format camera to achieve optimal clarity and resolution for his process.
