Unearthed features two photographers examining human relationships with the Earth. Rebecca’s images revel the symbiosis between plants and humans while Jennifer’s work features surreal portraits of her subjects transformed by the practice of ‘forest bathing’.
Open Community Arts Center will host the opening reception for Louisville photographer’s Rebecca Rose and Jennifer Greb on September 29, 2017. Jennifer’s work features surreal portraits of her subjects transformed by the practice of “forest bathing”, while Rebecca’s reveals the symbiosis between plants and humans. The reception will begin at 6 pm on 2801 S. Floyd St. The exhibit will be on display until November 1st.
Their show is a part of the 2017 Louisville Photo Biennial, a regional festival occurring in over 60 venues throughout the Louisville, Lexington and Southern Indiana area from September 22-November 11. Through exhibits, receptions, workshops and educational opportunities, the Biennial celebrates the medium of photography in all of its richness and variety, and its ability to touch and enrich our lives.
