Ivy Tech Southern Indiana to present Fine Art Photography Exhibit as part of the Louisville Photo Biennial 2015.

SELLERSBURG — Ivy Tech Community College of Southern Indiana will present a fine art photography art exhibit this fall. The exhibit, entitled “Perceptions of Reality,” will feature the creative talents of the advanced photography students at Ivy Tech Southern Indiana (Sellersburg) as part of the Louisville Photo Biennial and will run from October 8 through November 27, 2015.

“This will be a great opportunity to showcase the fine art photography of our students as well as be part of the larger event, the Louisville Photo Biennial,” said Melissa Dettlinger, Visual Communication photography instructor at Ivy Tech Southern Indiana.

The exhibit will demonstrate expressions and current issues in modern fine art photography. It will feature large format digital imagery created with contemporary experimental processes. Numerous themes will be explored on a variety of fine art and handmade papers.

An opening reception for “Perceptions of Reality,” the fine art photography exhibit, will be held on October 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Pat Harrison Fine Arts + Design Gallery, located in Ogle Hall which is regularly open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
