Flame Run Studio and Gallery will be exhibiting the photography of Bob Cox in “A Conversation with Glass”. Bob Cox, originally from Seymour, Indiana, has been an amateur photographer for the last 30 years and is drawn to the camera’s ability to freeze a moment in time. In this exhibit he captures the behind the scenes moments of the working artists of Flame Run Glass Studio. “I want to highlight a process that most people don’t understand, and show through these photographs the fluidity of the glassblowing process and how it echoes the fluidity of glass in its molten form.” says Cox.
“A Conversation with Glass” will be on display October 4, 2013 through November 23, 2013. An opening reception and conversation with the artist will be held at Flame Run Gallery, 815 W. Market Street, on October 4, 2013 from 6pm to 9pm.
